Our prayer for April 26th was submitted by Reverend Joseph Brown

Oh Lord, how precious is Your name in all the world. I humbly come before You to hold You up in unending love. You are more than worthy of all praise. You have led Your Nineteenth Street Baptist Church through many valleys, as well as, over many mountains. Thank you for leading and guiding us along our many journeys through life. Heavenly Father, thank you for those who have come before us, those who are here now, and those who are yet to come. Instill in us Lord that it is You who gives the increase and not we ourselves. As we reflect on our past 175 years, let us also look to the future, leaning on Your promises dear Lord that in times like these You will take care, and that we are never alone. Let us remember Hebrews 10:16,”We inherit the promise through faith and patience”. God is working! I ask this prayer in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen, Amen!
